OUR Ecovillage

Introduction

OUR Ecovillage is a 25-acre sustainable learning community and education centre located in the beautiful Cowichan Valley. We base our work on permaculture principles and offer learning opportunities for Natural Building, Sustainable Food Production, and Leadership. Visitors are welcome for educational tours with a presentation and walk through of our permaculture demonstration site and village community.

OUR Ecovillage offers several affordable options for accommodation, from rooms in our Hobbit-style natural cob buildings in our healing sanctuary, semi-private rooms with views of the forest in our B&B, shared accommodations in our dorm space, and glamping options. Stay for a while and be toured by amazing team members from around the world – who are passionate about sustainable living!

Booking a room at the village is perfect for those who want to retreat away from nature and get a full experience of what living at an ecovillage is like. You are invited to participate in the happenings of the day, or merely just enjoy our 25 acres of nature and the wilderness of Shawnigan Lake which has lakes, trails, and tons of relaxing activities to enjoy.
