Introduction

Visit the displays telling the colourful story of our community’s past. Feature exhibits, a revolving art gallery and a downstairs Learning Centre makes for a vibrant space where history comes alive, and the topics are relevant to today. Displays guide the visitor through the cultural, educational, medical, business and industrial development of Ladysmith. Artifacts relating to the mining and lumbering industries and the railway that played such an important part in the town’s development are at the centre.
