Artists drew inspiration from personal experiences, societal observations or broad reflections on the multifaceted nature of games people play.
Massimo works in the Cowichan Valley as an artist, musician, and teacher. He creates metal musical instruments, deepens his experiences with sound-creation, and connects his work to the healing resonances of the earth.
Our natural surroundings provide ample inspiration for the Island artists featured at Imagine That! Their works of art will lift your spirits and brighten your day, as you anticipate the coming of Spring.
Artists were invited to consider themes of renewal. Interpretations may be broad – such as taking something old & imposing meaning or repurposing it through art. Artists were asked to consider our community’s 150-year history, future & stories of renewal.
9 to 5 The Musical is based on the seminal 1980 hit movie. This hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous. Pushed to the boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with their sexist, egotistical boss. Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy – giving their boss the boot!
