Chemainus Comedy Club with Katie-Ellen Humphries

Chemainus Valley Cultural Arts Society invites you to shake off those winter blahs with some laughs at Chemainus Comedy Club featuring Katie-Ellen Humphries. Recently named Best Comedian in the Georgia Straight’s Best of Vancouver 2024 and a regular on CBC Radio’s The Debaters, Katie-Ellen’s artful delivery, surprising imagination and unique sensibility (that falls somewhere between the library and the locker-room) has made her a favourite of audiences across Canada and the U.S. Her television appearances include nationally televised standup sets on CTV, CBC and APTN and she’s been featured on major comedy festival lineups such as San Francisco Sketchfest and Just for Laughs Vancouver. Katie-Ellen is also a 3-time Canadian National Open Water 5k Swimming Champion. That’s unrelated to comedy, but it explains the shoulders.
Doors open at 7pm, with show starting at 7:30pm. Event is 19+ with tickets at $20
