A Celebration of the Tzinquaw Opera

In honour of National Truth and Reconciliation Day, Orca Cove Media Presents: A Celebration of the Tzinquaw Opera.
Through the traditional story, music, and dance of today’s Tzinquaw Dance Group, we celebrate the creation of the Tzinquaw Opera in the 1940’s-50’s and its widespread acclaim, leading to the present-day revitalization of Cowichan culture.
Live performance from the Tzinquaw Dance Group is 90 minutes with no intermission. Recording will be taking place during this performance.
